Well, I guess I am back in the running game. I didn't hydrate well today and I could tell. It never felt like I was in the pocket during this run. By far the longest run I have done in 2 years.

tired Bruce Protocol for TigerFit 0.72 mi 00:13:10 18:17 pace
The Bruce Protocol test is miserable by itself, but it is even worse after running the night before. It was fun being the one taking the test instead of delivering it.

In simple words, a bruce protocol test is a graded exercise test (GXT) or stress test that test cardiac health. You start at 1.7 mph at 10% grade and every 3 minutes the incline increases and the pace will also increase on some stages.
Here is a link that lays it out pretty basically. http://www.topendsports.com/testing/tests/bruce.htm
