    Just finishing this half was a success. There are reasons I took it slow :) Good reasons..anyway it was a beautiful course and my husband PR'd. Yay for another half in the books.

    Suffering major fatigue lately and busy busy busy. I hope I can make it through next weekends half marathon.

      I don't think there's much (if any) risk of you not getting through the half marathon. You won't have lost all your fitness since you ran your 9.5 miler a week ago although your pace may have come down slightly. Probs best to think of it as an experiment to see how your body reacts to doing less in the 1-2 weeks before a race. Essentially whatever happens the world will keep on spinning and you'll be no worse off:-)

    Little shake out run. Quads/hips a little sore from the downhill yesterday, but not as bad as I thought! I was only going to go 3 today, then I decided 4, then I said why not 5.

      Great effort getting a workout done at that early time. I don't think it ever gets easier to get out of bed at that sort of time but I do generally find that I have a better start to the day when I get some exercise done early.

    First back from vacation run. I did NO running on vacation and the break was nice, but time to get back at it. This was a run/walk 3 miles up and 3 miles down. Wake up legs!
