  1. RUN
    good outside 4.1 mi

Got outside for this run. It was a pretty day! Pretty disappointed in my training lately and next week is going to be rough with late nights at work. After that though, I hope to get back on trac... read more

3 runs in a week still looks good to me. It tends to be what I aim for in an ideal week - although this week I've epically failed at that. Great effort fitting in what you could. Good luck with doing the same next week but it proves too difficult don't push yourself too hard. Remember those trainers will still be there the week after;-)

There's a time to opt for a TM run and this is definitely it! Great work getting it done!

      Nice Job:

A little thing called life can easily hamper workouts. Great job getting this in where you could!

    great Skiing!

SO much powder today, not used to skiing in it, but it was great. I'm exhausted.

Did not want to do it, but warmed up after mile 1 and felt pretty good. I'm looking forward to lighter evenings and warmer weather.

Great that you ignored those inner voices of defiance and got some miles in. Nicely done!

  10. RUN
    good Tredmil 3.1 mi

3 miles @ race pace according to plan. Trying to beat my race time for my next race. For the last 2 years, I've gotten the same exact time! I'm not shooting for anything crazy, just to... read more

Totally agree... I can do long runs outside and often the time flies by but on the TM I think you become so more conscious of the time and of course you know that you can stop at any time and your home free. Nice work! You'll soon get that new PB!

  11. RUN

Felt way better than I normally do. I think it was a mixture of getting my running legs back,I'm not that exhausted from the week...YET, and eating a super healthy lunch. Happy Running!

    OUTSIDE! 4.2 mi

Slow going, but boy did it feel good to be outside. This was a nice break from writing my research proposal. I'm in my last semester of my master's degree and I'm a little worried... read more

Great effort getting this done. I always find that when I exert a lot of mental concentration on something I never get my run done afterwards because I'm too tired and I often work longer than I planned so I've found first thing in the morning works for me and it keeps me feeling healthy and ready to apply some concentration on the job ahead. Alternatively there are times when life just gets in the way and you may have to sacrifice some runs.

I always find that establishing a consistent workout routine is (most of the time) the most difficult thing. Great TM run! Keep it up:-)
