good Cougar half marathon course - second time around 13.5 mi 02:20 10:24 pace

After finishing the half marathon (previous post) I stowed my gear and put on my hydration pack and ran the course again. Went much slower, just taking it easy. I walked the hill both directions as I was getting tired, and it was heating up quickly and very sunny (very little shade on the course, my car said it was 80 degrees when I finished). I had a stinger waffle at mile 5, an electrolyte pill at mile 8, and a Gu at mile 10. Ended up drinking the entire liter of water that my pack carries.
Glad I had a bottle of a sport drink in my car and a SunRype Fruit bar, and a protein bar.
Got home, cleaned up, and took the family out for frozen yogurt.
