      When I do my pool running I go ahead and translate it to miles based on effort (8, 9 or 10 min/mile pace). I figure its like a zero gravity treadmill.

      I have a stress fracture in a rib. The doc just wants me to start with something that doesn't make my body "thud". I'll start at aqua jogging, but running in the water sounds like an option, too!

    5 min warm up, then 1:4 jog:fast walk; easy run for the last 5 minutes. Foot was sore, mechanics must be off since my knee was hurting also.
