Skipping dinner last night wasn't a good idea, I was just tired and anxious for bed since the boy has been such a restless sleeper and early riser lately. Still didn't get out the door until after 9:30 I think, which is late and hot. Oh well. I stopped and ate blackberries along the way a couple times, had to stop for dogs, and stopped just for the hell of it in the shade. Then I forgot to turn the garmin back on and ran probably a half mile before realizing it, d'oh! I think I only realized it the THIRD time I checked it, that's how derpity derpderp I was this morning. Not the best run lately, but still, it's the long run done for the week as I shifted the training schedule around to do LR today, and on Saturday there's a health fair with free 5 mile race and I'll run that as a tempo run with the boy, and we have a trail 5k the next day I'll have as 3 easy easy recovery miles.

Nutrition...It's an afterthought until about mile 2...been there done that! But blackberries sound way better than Hammer Gel. Sounds like you have a great running weekend planned!!!

The worst thing was, I knew it was a mistake when I was doing it--but the idea of staying up by myself to cook a steak seemed really silly. But next time that's exactly what I'll do, I'm paying for it today. Blech.
