  1. RUN
    blah 3.51 mi 00:36 10:17 pace

Supposed to be five but the Bob's out of alignment, I'm out of shape, and the boy woke up, so I called it.

Bad Bob. Great run - over 3.5 miles at a very nice pace pushing Bob - nothing to sneeze at.

Nick is so excited by this-- I've been really nagging at him for trail running and he's been so meh, but he loved this. I can't wait to get him to go trail running on a wooded trail-- this run was all on exposed low scrubby mountainside, and sort of a zigzaggy maze. It would have looked funny from the air, I'm sure. In fact, I think I'll sync the garmin just to see it.

The worst thing was, I knew it was a mistake when I was doing it--but the idea of staying up by myself to cook a steak seemed really silly. But next time that's exactly what I'll do, I'm paying for it today. Blech.

Wow! That would be tough. You are one strong woman - think I would have given up and ended up in the corner bawling. Amazing 3 miles! And yes, you are awesome. My Garmin does things like that, too.

Ha, it would have been easier to stay home but I really wanted my 3 easy miles and knew I'd be pissed off and resentful all day if I skipped it. (right or wrong, that's how it goes) And I knew he'd nap in the bob if we could just get out the damn door and up to speed. Oh well, hopefully that was just a rare especially bad day. Stupid teeth.

Um, I think those speeds were pretty kickass to run while pushing the boy on hills. And snicker, snicker about Marisa and her hills. Now I want to smack some hills around and make 'em my b---h.

Yep, baby steps in running. My #1 goal is no injuries so I can keep it up and get faster and faster and faster-- that lady's 18:30 (2 months pp, just wow) is my 2years pp goal. ;)
I have a FB friend I met in a race too. :) I've got to say, for all the drawbacks of technology, I really love the ease of social networking, I am terrible at staying in touch otherwise.
