      Thanks, ladies & gents. I'll figure this out and will keep you posted after seeing a specialist. I'll check the accuracy of the Garmin heart monitor, as well.

      Wow Tootsie Two, you have the cap screwed on rather tight sister. If your heart rate was stable prior to the race more than likely you would be okay. DNS really does not amount to much because you are taking part for yourself. If the experience was going to be overly stressful why bother. Do a little some when you feel up to it, and devote more time to your art as we spoke of before. The boat tournament is something that would really be so much fun to do.

    Official Results. This is my worst half-marathon race. Glad I finished though. Over the final 3km, I passed 209 runners and 17 passed me. That should suffice, I guess.
