great Sringer 26 mi 06:54 15:55 pace
5 hour GUTS run to Springer and back. Did and extra top of the falls to Hike in and back run 1:54. Great weather for running
-
Very nice getting that extra in! Have you ever ran the Hike Inn loop? Sometimes I'll go up there and run down to the Hike Inn sign on the Approach trail and then turn in at the Hike Inn and it's about a 10 mile loop. Nice run!

I have done that loop once. I thought about going past Springer to the falls to get mileage. But nobody else wanted to. : ( So when I got back with everybody else I went back to Hike inn cause I drank some lemonade and used the facilitys and did not have tip money (forgot it at the car). It bothered me I always tip them, they are great folks. So I went back.. And got my milage. : )
-
Yeah, we still need to get that 30 miler in sometime up there. I like going to 3 forks via BMT and coming back the AT. I haven't done that route in awhile..need to do it!

U too? OMG that really long downhill after the power lines killed my quads! LoL

Oh yah Monday morning I didn't think I was go to make it down the stairs. So was that a good H9 training route?

If we could add 3500 feet of elevation gain to that 25 miles than yes. LoL. But, it was a great run. The hills overall are pretty runnable for the most part at Fort Mountain. However, that downhill at Fort Mountain is pretty bad. I probably need to practice that one over and over. I'd rather go up than go down. Definite quad buster! LoL

My quads haven't been this sore in a long time. Going down steps still hurts lol
