  1. VELO
    good Just a spin 20 mi 01:02 19.3mph pace

Just a steady state spin, no intervals or everything. Trial is finally over, and I'm ready to get back to work, and working out!

  2. swim
great BCTC swim 3000 yd 01:05 38:07 pace

It was 7 degrees and super windy, with fresh snow down, when I left the house. About a dozen Tri nuts got together for an enjoyable swim that focused on breathing sets with paddles and buoys. I was... read more

  3. FIT
    good 6 zone training 00:36

All the explosive movements you love. I have fun with the small doses of the rowing maching, and 6 minutes per station keeps you motivated to work hard the whole time.

  4. VELO
good More spinervals 15 mi 00:46 19.4mph pace

This was a dvd called "endurance booster." I did about half of it and ran out of time, still I was happy to get 2 workouts today. Thrilled, actually! This probably would have been easier ... read more

  5. VELO
good Quick Spin 15 mi 00:48 18.8mph pace

Spinervals big gear strength before a very late dinner. Felt so good to sweat.

  6. RUN
    2 days 4 mi 00:33 08:15 pace

2 on the TM last night, 2 the night before. No real time or energy to do much more as this mass illness in my house is a real buzzkill for my energy. Trying to get at least a couple miles in every ... read more

Nice job with still trying to fit in some exercise, despite lack of time/energy! I hope the household illness goes away soon!

Good job fitting in what you can. I know how hard it is when everyone is sick! Good use of time at the courthouse running those steps! Strong work!

    alright Dreadmill 3 mi 00:26 08:30 pace

Not the exercise I wanted, but it was definitely needed. Between jury duty and some illness running through half my house I feel like I haven't had a minute to myself lately. I'm definite... read more

  8. VELO
good Quick evening spin 12 mi 38:00 0.3mph pace

Hmm. I thought I posted this, but maybe not. 7 x 1:30 (1:30 RI), 1 x 3:00. Pretty happy with my power, intervals 1, 2, and 7 were >320 watts and 6 was nearly there. The others were at 305-310 wa... read more

    great 6 zone 00:30

I didn't get through the whole workout as I had to get to jury duty. I'm stuck on a case with no end in sight. The case may be done by early march, I'm told. Meanwhile, life goes on ... read more

great BCTC swim 2400 yd 01:00 44:00 pace

Good swim today. Drills and kicks in the warm up, then 50s and 100s with 10s rest, some 25s, and then 200 breathing every 3/5/7/9 strokes by 50.

Sounds like a great set with lots of variety! That hypoxic breathing is tough. We haven't done it lately at my masters group. I definitely don't like the 7 and 9!

My hamstrings have been tight since my trip to the gym on Wednesday, but couldn't find time to get a shakeout run until tonight. Felt easy, but I really hate my treadmill.

  14. RUN
good Lunch run 5.2 mi 00:43 08:20 pace
