good Lunch Tempo 5.8 mi 00:44 07:36 pace
Felt great to run on a beautiful day today. Sunny, cool, pleasant; my kind of weather. Set out aimlessly and after a mile or so decided that I was feeling good and gradually picked up the pace to... read more

Easy NAC swim 1500 m 00:32 34:19 pace
Some 200s, 100s and fast 50s, along with some drill work to (hopefully) support the technique changes I made last week. It feels more awkward than my normal stoke, but it's just as fast or fas... read more

alright Hot and humid 5.8 mi 00:47 08:07 pace
Went out at a tempo-ish pace, but the weather was getting to me a bit so at 4 miles I slowed it down to a recovery-ish pace. I picked the wrong day to forget my towel. I'm a soaking wet mess... read more

good Tyler Park troller run 7.5 mi 01:05 08:42 pace

good Another day, a new Garmin 18.5 mi 00:59 19.0mph pace

So far so good, as I had expected! I like that the 310xt goes easily from your wrist to the bike mount (with the extra quick release kit). I don't think it has a swim mode and can't get a signal underwater, although I've heard of people putting it in their swim cap during an open water swim. The 910xt is meant for swim use as well as bike/run and has an accelerometer so it can measure how many turns you do in a pool. I just didn't want to pay the $150 difference for what I see as a marginal upgrade.

Bah, forgot my Garmin on my desk! Amy, I don't look at my watch during workouts so I only noticed that we ran the same when i put the workout into DM, but I was pretty amused by it. And, yeah, consider my ass whooped.

That 3 miler looks pretty darn good to me. Especially after you swam 2000m. I think the swim would have done me in.
