At one point a dog stared at me from the back of his (dog tested, dog approved) Subaru. He was on the way to the beach and happy. The whole scene made me smile.

Earlier in the day was the Cardiff Kook run. There was still a lane blocked off for me. Not bad, eh? I considered it a birthday gift along with the weather.

It's always surreal to listen to the words of a song for the first time with a song I've know for 20 years. Today it was Sting's Heavy Clouds No Rain. Beautiful bridge on that song BTW.
