great Boonesville, MD; Appalachian Trail to Annapolis Rocks O & B 5.06 mi 01:15 14:49 pace

Day 1693. Annapolis Rocks north of Boonsboro, MD has a great view; I hadn't "run" this trail route in about a year but knew I was traveling though here today, so I planned on it and hit it in route home. Mostly powermarched up with some mixed uphill running, snapped some pictures of the view from the Rocks, and then flew back down the section of South Mountain. Love those downhill "backs." 1st time I've run in my Hoka Stinsons since Lone Pine and thoroughly enjoyed them along with some music. Great eastern Summer day, 91, humid, sunny, great day to run and the trail made it even better. Best run in a while on the "back" piece.

Tim, did you know that in August 1693 Dom Perignon invented the champagne? Great tribute run :)

I'm liking the Stinson Evos at the moment; has just about everything I like in a long distance road/trail running shoe.
Thought about you the other day when my wife's TRX gear arrived. Pretty awesome stuff, just learning now but my wife loves it.

Thanks everyone. Chris, it might be time for some Dom, it's been too long! Rob, glad to hear Kathy really likes TRX. I'll be the 21st to say you've got to work out with TRX a few times, check out the manual & DVD to get comfortable with it, but once you do, there's nothing else like it, especially for crosstraining for our sport.
