good Fox River Trail 6.5 mi 01:00 09:12 pace

  3. RUN
    Wing Park 7.92 mi 01:18 09:47 pace

Morning workout. Had to use my KnuckleLights for the first mile since it was still dark at that hour.

  4. RUN
good Wing Park 6.58 mi 01:00 09:06 pace

Early morning run at Wing Park in Elgin. I think the wind chill was hovering just above zero but I was bundled up warmly so the cold wasn't an issue. I'll do anything to avoid the dreadmill.

  5. RUN
good Wing Park in Elgin 6.37 mi 01:00 09:24 pace

Very cold morning with wind chill barely above zero. I ran Wing Park since it gets plowed after a snowfall. Had my warmest winter running gloves on but my fingers didn't warm up until after ... read more

I like this idea. Suspect New York will be the hardest to get into, since you "just" have to qualify for Boston. I've entered the NYC lottery so many times, feels like it's just a waste of money :(

Good luck getting into NYC. It does stink to have to pay $11 just to apply to the lottery. I got lucky and got in via the lottery on my first try. That was in 2012 but hurricane Sandy caused me to defer to 2014.

Nice run! Maybe I should try the foot pod for urban runs. GPS is useless downtown.
