Time for the weekly 'race-pace run' again. I mostly don't like these while running since they are really hard most of the times but that is also why they give the most satisfaction afterwards of course :). Especially this one! The first goal was to go faster then sub 2 hour HM pace (5:41 min/km) and if possible faster then 5:30 min/km, awesome feeling when you manage to even beat your hardest goal :). Set the virtual partner of the Garmin to 5:41 and was almost 6 minutes ahead at the end. Slight drop in pace at the end but maybe that's because of a lack of hydration, or isn't that necesarry on a run of less then an hour and a half?


Great run, Thomas! I know what you mean about not liking them. I don't have them every week, but almost, including this coming Sat.

I go with hydration every 45 min but i think it is different for everyone... i sweat like a fountain. Way to knock it out of the park!!!

Nice run Thomas. If it's hot then yeah 1.5 hours with no water could be a bit too much.
