alright Long Run 25 km 02:36 10:01 pace

Wow this was a hard one, left in the middle of the day while it was very hot outside! Actually wanted to stop from kilometer 9 on or something but pushed through, not a single meter farther then 25k though :p. Can hardly walk now and my first day of work tommorow but after all it was worth it of course :). Did the half marathon distance in 2:11 so without the heat, the 5kg camel bak and with a race pace in stead of a long run pace sub 2hours should be possible, I'm starting to believe it anyway :).

Whew, that's a ton of miles! Nice pace. You should be fine for your sub-2 hour goal!

Nice work Thomas but please try and minimise long runs during the heat of the day and be careful to stick to plan with your mileage increases. Best of luck on your first day too :)

Thomas, sounds like we had similar experiences today, only my run was a bit earlier but was still very hot. Great great job and I do believe it is all possible even though at times today during run I did not think possible.

Totally possible Thomas! You'll do it sub 2:00 no problem at all....you'll see :) Excellent commitment, but I agree with Tracy S. and be cautious in the heat with such distance....you want to stay injury free and healthy! All the best tomorrow.

Nice work Thomas. 25 km is a long time to be on your feet. A sub 2 hour half marathon is well within your reach.

Awesome job Thomas! You will get sub 2h easy. I agree with Tracy though, don't overdo it, especially in the heat.. Train, don't strain :)

Wow, I only wish I could maintain that pace for that distance! 2 hours is totally doable for you, especially with your 5k pace and long distance training!
