Coach instruction was for 21 Kms, but ran only 18.5 due to some confusion by my Garmin. I forgot to reset my previous run.
Loved the barefoot run in the mild drizzle at Nandi Hills. Around 22+ runners joined the run. Warmed up easy for around 20 mins and then started the run. Initial 7 Kms upward was at avg pace of 6.30 mins/Km. The run downward was at avg pace of 4.30 mins/Km. Again ran up for half the distance and zoomed down. I was not confident of running the distance on barefoot, due to the wet roads. My thinking was that the wet roads would make my soles tender, but did complete 18 Kms with slight bruises. Will give 1 week for recovery.
