I am not sure if I can call it cheating...but I used fins for this swim...for everything eexcept the pulls. I wanted to make sure that I got the total distance in for today. I usually do not use fins at all, but rather power through kick and speed intervals. It was kind of nice to zip right through it though...I am not going to lie about that!

I find that fins loosen up my legs better than no fins and that's why I swim!

I hear ya. I love fins, but now I get calf and hammy cramps. Did you ever wear all your gear at one time: Fins, buoy, paddles, kickboard? Just kidding...Great swim.
