3 mile warm up followed by 5 miles at or just below half marathon race pace: 6:26, 6:24, 6:28, 6:27, 6:25. Followed by 2 mile cool down.

On a side note, yesterday I decided to end my run streak at 68 days. I had run at least 1 mile since November 23rd. I didn't end the streak because of an injury, illness, bad weather, or any reason other than I thought yesterday was a good day to end it. It was a day after a 17+ mile run and the day after my birthday so I just decided to take the day off of running. I really wanted to end the streak on my terms and not because of something keeping me from running like an injury or illness. It felt strange not to put on running shoes and head out the door but I think it was the right thing to do. I'm now running more and harder than I ever have and I think taking one day a week completely off is a good idea.
