Brian did a cc skiing workout 2.66 miles greatRailroad Trail – 2.66 mi
I haven't been on cross country skis in many years (I tried once when I lived in NW Ohio, but I had a problem with the boots and/or bindings so it was just frustrating), but my dad gave me a new-to-me pair of boots and another pair of skis, so I got a ... read more

Great workout Brian. Sounds like fun and love that your kids think you are their sled dog.

Talk about night and day difference... yesterday by the time I was 2 miles out, I was bored and it seemed like I'd run forever...
Today I felt like I *could* run forever... about 20 minutes into the run, I saw another runner ahead, and I worked my ta... read more

It was a good day for a run, but I felt like I was out there forever. There are days when the podcast is awesome. Not today. Nothing like running in farm country with a boring podcast.

Brian ran 4.56 miles in 39 mins goodSouth Bank Road – 4.56 mi / 00:39 08:37 pace
The wind was a lot stronger than I thought it would be, and it was colder than I'd expected (20 degrees with windchill of 5) - I almost turned back and went home. But once I'd put in the first mile or so, I got used to it.

Way to withstand that wind.. it was brutal earlier. Hopefully it will ease up and it'll start to warm up a bit

In one word: brutal. In more words: I didn't realize it was THAT cold and windy this evening. It was frigid, and the wind whipped right through me. I was wearing my warmest tech-shirt, but it wasn't enough without a windbreaker layer. Time to thaw o... read more

I felt the same way when I went outside. The sun today here was deceptive in making you think that it was warmer, but a cold day of running is better than a day without running.

It was a decent run - though I forgot a few things. First of all, I don't know how I decided the wind direction, but somehow I predicted the wrong direction. So I ran out with the wind, which felt fantastic... but coming back, the wind was whipping d... read more

On my run yesterday I swear that every time I had an uphill run the wind was in my face making all the more harder. Sometimes I wonder about that Murphy guy and his stupid law. LOL But it was still a good run. :)
