  1. good 4.5 mi / 00:45 09:53 pace

This was a nice evening run. It was uneventful, except for someone yelling out their car window at me. I was even running on the pedestrian path instead of the road. Oh well. I still enjoyed the run and the great temperature.

Glad you had a nice run, Michael. Don't worry about the crazy driver; probably jealous.

  2. goodNeighborhood run 4.5 mi / 00:38 08:30 pace

This was a nice run in perfect weather. I felt pretty good throughout. I pushed it at times, buy tried to begin and end with an easy pace.

  3. greatW&OD Run 8 mi / 01:16 09:27 pace

I felt great during this run and had plenty of energy left when I finished. I didn't know how my legs would feel after driving 4 hours today, but it didn't seem to be an issue.

  4. goodNeighborhood morning run. 4.5 mi / 00:45 09:56 pace

It's been so long since I've run early in the morning, I had forgotten how much I enjoy it. The temperature was great and I took it nice and easy. I did make a wrong turn (I probably shouldn't try a new route in the dark), but it only ended up extendin... read more

The other downside of the morning run is you can't enjoy it as much when the weather is getting nicer out. But it is nice to get it out of the way.

  5. goodLake Newport Run 4.5 mi / 00:42 09:15 pace

My left knee felt a little sore at the beginning, but it subsided after the first mile. I'm icing it now just to try to keep any possible inflamation at bay. The weather was great (60 and sunny) and I enjoyed this nice neighborhood run.

Great weather to be running in I think. Careful with the knee, joint problems are not fun. But the run looks nice and easy

  6. goodShort neighborhood run 3 mi / 00:28 09:24 pace

Short run after work. Took it nice and easy after yesterday's 5k.

  7. goodRun for Haiti 5k 3.1 mi / 00:23 07:29 pace

I had hoped to run this 5k in under 25 minutes, so I was quite pleased to end up with a 23:13. It was a beautiful morning and I really enjoyed the run. There was a nice turnout and a lot of shirts were donated for the people of Haiti.

  8. goodTreadmill Run 4 mi / 00:40 10:00 pace

    Easy treadmill run after work.

  9. goodNeighborhood Run 5 mi / 00:43 08:35 pace

I pushed my speed a bit today, so I could get a feel for how I may perform in my 5k on Sunday. I used the first and last miles as warm up / cool down. I had splits of 9:37, 8:14, 7:55, 7:49, and 9:20. I'm hoping for a sub-25 minute 5k and think I shoul... read more

  10. I was going to go backpacking next weekend, but that was postponed. Now I'm going to participate in the Run for Haiti 5k in Reston on March 7th. It's a good concept... instead of getting a shirt your bring old race shirts to donate for those in Haiti. ... read more
