    good Scrub Run 5K (3.16 miles) 3.16 mi 00:32 10:14 pace

I took off yesterday so I could feel well-rested for today's race. It started 5 minutes from home on roads I drive all the time so I knew there are not many flat stretches along this route.

Very slow, but after yesterday's 10K, very comfortable. Glad to have a decent mileage week, and a good start to the month.

  6. RUN
    alright 6.2 mi 01:07 10:46 pace

Just a so-so 10K. Been away for two weeks, and I think I was still recovering from the trip home. Didn't really feel like racing, but wanted the miles, so basically just jogged the course. ... read more

Funny - I was on the north end of the greenway at about the same time as you were further south and I described it as "cool overcast and humid". But then I was probably a good 20 feet higher in elevation. ;>]. Glad to hear you've got a good set up for running in May during your travel.

Sorry Bill. I would not 70° at 7:30 in the morning in Atlanta as cool. It was definitely uncomfortable and muggy on my end.

A thoughtful run this morning, Michael. When travelling and the outside run choices aren't good, I like a good fitness center workout on the elliptical or the stationary bike just as much.

Nice plodding this morning :). For 9 years I traveled just about every week for my job, and was often uncomfortable running outside in unknown areas, so took advantage of fitness centers. I learned to like the tready, and the lipty was my go-to for cross-training. I also brought DVDs or watched YouTube videos to do stretch/strength workouts in my room. A light evening workout is a good idea to stave off unhealthy habits!
