Didn't feel as good as I had hoped, probably because it was so much colder and windier than I would have guessed for Florida. Still within a minute or so of my time goal of 2:06, and I registered ... read more

    great clarksville 3 3.18 mi 00:30 09:33 pace

Great taper continues. Another easy 3 this morning and felt like I was floating on air. About same time as yesterday, but a better run because the splits were negative, which means I'm fully reco... read more

great Yeah for Fresh Legs 3.16 mi 00:30 09:37 pace

I think I was exhausted yesterday, so I turned in early last night and had a good night's sleep. Woke up feeling good today, and had a very nice 3-mile run a little quicker than it felt. Chilly f... read more

    good clarksville 3 3.16 mi 00:32 09:58 pace

A very nice way to finish up the week. I very rarely don't take at least 1 rest day a week, but I'm finding that steady short runs every day is a nice way to begin a taper. Have an 8-miler planne... read more

    good clarksville 3 3.16 mi 00:31 09:55 pace

This has become my regular 3 mile run while in Clarksville. I like it because it's a bit long, and has some good inclines. I can also convert it to 4+ with an additional neighborhood loop. Was ti... read more

I always think as long as I don't get blisters the first time I wear new shoes I'm doing OK. Good luck braking them in.
