AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I finally tried to get back at it today. I went out at lunchtime to just do a few miles. Of course after my first morning back at work and after 5 days off from running including missing my marathon, my frustration level was at its peak, and I probably ran harder than I should have on this hilly route. After 2 miles, my right quad and hamstring were yelling at me, so I shut it down. I don't think it's anything serious, but I didn't want to take a chance. I think they were just stiff from the extended break and needed more warmup than I gave them (about 3 steps). I know better than that, but I couldn't help myself. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Running is like getting on a bicycle - sometimes the bike has a seat and sometimes it doesn't – hopefully you find your seat soon.

Yeah, I think I got my ass handed to me on this run. I just didn't realize that it was on an aluminum rod. Tomorrow's another day. I'll be back at it. No worries about that.
