OMG! I forgot how good and easy taper runs feel. After Monday's 4 recovery miles and yesterday's rest day, my legs were like tightly coiled springs. I shot out of the gate and had to work on controlling my speed throughout. I was supposed to do 7 miles with 8 x 100m strides today, but I'm changing that up slightly. I wanted to sleep in again this morning, so I did. I was going to do the entire run at Mojo run group tonight, but it was just too nice today not to run at lunchtime. I'll do the remainder of my miles after work. The split run won't kill me at the point. I did get in the strides though.
