First run since Sunday. My body seems to be reacting more like I ran a marathon than a half marathon, but I guess that's because that's basically what I did. It's just that the second half of it was done after a cool down and then at widely varying paces. There's still some residual soreness in my legs, but they basically feel okay. Even though I'm still going to take it easy for the next while, I'm on the right track.


Glad you were able to run some Mark!! Tough having to do a Half, and then go back out and do another, at all kinds of varying speeds!! I hadn't realized that part! As you were coaching the runners in, they all had their own paces! Wow!! That must have been difficult on tired legs.

Yeah, just a bit. ;-) My saving grace was that as I was getting more hot and tired, so were the runners. By the end it was more of a shuffle than a run.

Thanks Adrian! I'm good. Got one more walk today at Mojo run group tonight. Yesterday pretty much sucked, but like I said this is more like how my body reacts to a marathon than anything else. Bigger question, how are you doing, MARATHONER?!

I'm doing surprisingly well. Aside from being REALLY exhausted and my brain working partially (lol), I'm not having much discomfort. I get random twinges that last no longer than a second or two, but my knee is still the main issue. I want to get it checked out, but I'm trying to figure out where to go!
