RUN
great Random Dodgeville Romp 3.24 mi 00:32 09:52 pace
It was great to get back out there again. I have no idea if my time and/or distance is right, but it is close enough. The main thing is that I ran. Now if I can just keep up this trend...

RUN
great Around Dodgeville 3.5 mi 00:30 08:34 pace
Besides the pesky birds that tried to dive bomb my head, this run was great. I was able to push myself. I have done the distance (with a marathon) now I would love to get my mid range pace down. ... read more

The break probably did you a lot of good. For the last few weeks, the running has been a drag and felt that my body was just really tired. I think I pounded through that as today's run went great. Not as great as yours, but it's all relative :) I also have this suspicion that tomorrow is something... I just can't get a handle on it. Oh well, must not be that important.

RUN
tired Harris Park 3.5 mi
Wow, it was a hot and humid day. I just couldn't take it any more. I had to circle back to my apt. after just a few miles. But I still wanted to work out, so I did some biking after. Good times... read more

great On The Bike 7.93 mi 00:30 15.9mph pace
Well, it was my first work out in far too long. I think I did 3 miles somewhere in between now and the marathon, but recovery, then a cold, then vacation took priority. Of course I did walk a ton... read more

Hell yeah! That's all I have to say about that.

I'm going to have to pick your brain as I prepare for mine. I kind of hope I could have gotten there a little earlier to meet up with you, but sadly it couldn't be worked into the schedule. Very happy to see you come into the chute! Now get some rest!

RUN
great Mountains Of Dodgeville 3 mi
Felt really great. I slowed it down and went for a little closer to my 'race pace'. Sadly somebody stopped and reset my stopwatch when I was going into my 2nd lap so I have no idea how long I ran... read more

RUN
great Mountains of Dodgeville 6 mi 01:00 09:57 pace
It was a light rain and slightly windy day. It just felt refreshing. I was able to hang on to the 10 min. mile pace for all 6. I wanted to do 8 but ran out of time. Overall I am pretty happy wi... read more

RUN
great Mountains of Dodgeville 4.5 mi 00:45 09:54 pace
I think the run went well. Tomorrow I am going back to my old shoes to see if I have any less pain while running. It's nothing I can't get through, it would just be nice to not have to deal with ... read more

RUN
good Mountains of Dodgeville 3 mi
A solid run. Practiced my mental preparation more than anything else. That wind sucked but I just let it drive me that much harder.

RUN
good Mountains of Dodgeville To Apt. 5 mi 00:47 09:28 pace
The run went pretty well. I'm trying to push it a bit even if I am winding down. Leg was hurting and also my feet. I'm hoping that it is just breaking in the new shoes. I will run the marathon ... read more

A great run, but a hot day. I did a nice job pushing myself. Also broke in my new shoes (Mizuno Wave Creation 10). The taper has started! Marathon here I come!

RUN
blah Mountains of Dodgeville 10.5 mi 01:50 10:28 pace
Wanted to do another 18 but at mile 10.5 things fell apart. It wasn't my mental and I wasn't too tired to go on. Lets just say next time I am eating more bread for lunch.
-
10.5 is still pretty nice. Are you planning on another long run before tapering off for the marathon?

I'm going to give it a go tonight and see what happens, but I'll be honest. I'm still not 100% from Monday's run. The long ones are tough. If I don't make it tonight, then that's that. I start the taper.

good Mountains of Dodgeville 18 mi 03:31 11:44 pace
Wow. Just about died the last 1.5 miles, but I made it. It was dark. It was windy. It was cold. But once you run 18 you can do 26. Can Finally spread the word about me running a marathon.

Congratulations man! Those mountains of Dodgeville are tough, I should know, but 18 miles!

Great run with Ryan M. around Dodgeville. Got me excited for the 18 mile run I had coming up. Try out the LE trail if you are in the area!

RUN
great Crazy Legs 5 mi 00:48 09:33 pace
Besides the really bad weather (cold and rain) it was a nice easy pace to keep and had a few conversations along they way. Did this one for fun rather than for time.
