    WARM!!! The sand is soft, but I still wish I had dog knees that bent the opposite way. Maybe then it wouldn't hurt.

      Those are some pretty insane heart rates, dude. Are you normally that elevated?

      Definitely above normal. Knew I wouldn't be able to hit my normal 3.5 miles on sand, so I made it a harder 2+ miles with a couple of breaks. Mile 2 was much slower b/c/o fatigue and pain. It was also FREAKING HOT.

    Soft sand is SLOW. The tide was high, so I had to zig-zag a lot to find the firmest sand. Tough work.
