Not really injured, just fell flat on my face! I am still re-training to lift my knees. I shuffled like a penguin for so long, I forgot what it was like to actually run. Recovery has been going great. I started running 10 days post partum, so this is not my first run. I've also lost most of the weight so it has been much easier to get back there. I just had a little time to get a short run. It is supposed to pour all day and to be honest, I was hoping it would while I was out there. How fun would that have been?!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. My new goal is to get back on here and stay on track ;). Oh...and catch up with everyone.

It makes me so happy to see a post from you! :) I've been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing. I figured things have been crazy with a new born and didn't want to bother you. It doesn't surprise me that you are back running and kicking butt. Super excited you are going to be back on DM. Post a baby pic when you can :)

I hurt my ego as I fell right in front of few people. Oh well...I got up and sprinted, or tried to, ha!

Amy- my doc allowed me to start ten days pp. I didn't have any complications and the fact that I ran up until my last month made it easier.

You'll get back, no problem. Give yourself some time, though. Those first couple of weeks are strange and hard. You are amazing!
