      wow. Rought time out there. And after watching your training- you were my hero! To me- this year felt hotter, as we didn't have a cooling headwind. Especially those last few miles in Boston. That said- i didn't find it any slower- as the tailwind did offer less resistance. Sounds like you had a tough day out there- and you were who I was looking to to kill it, after watching your training. Tip: hills are not harder- they're just slower. Keep intensity the same.

      Remember, we have an extra day. My MP mikes today felt good. HR in Z2 at MP so that's a good sign. I did some MP miles yesterday and 3-1/2 MP miles today. (Oops) Probably too much, but my performance manager chart says otherwise.

    Chose to ride due to a soreness under my left calf muscle. Think I got it from cleaning the old place on Sunday! Took me 5hr to do that. Blah!
