I specifically got up early this morning to do my run, but got caught up in watching the Olympics and didn't leave until after noon lol . The first 5K of my run went well and was just under 30 min, but them my stomach started bothering me and I had to stop and walk for a bit. The rest of my run was slower after that.
So peanut butter and Nutella on bread is apparently not the best thing for me to eat before a run. Lesson learned!

Really enjoyed watching Canada take bronze in Women's synchronized 10 meter platform diving and the USA take the gold in Women's team gymnastics! Apparently for the first time since 1996! Canada came in 5th which is the best the women's team has done to date so good for them! All the athletes of course did a stellar job. It's mind-boggling what those girls can do!

    Nice run :) I usually find peanut butter and banana on GF toast my go to breakfast, but t still has to be 1.5h before I run so I don't cramp up. I'm on a field hockey watching spree...watched ARG 0 - 1 USA and GER v. AUS is on in 4 min.

    I haven't quite gotten into the Olympics yet, but I am trying. I love almond butter on a long run, but I would probably prefer something with more carbs before a short run :)
