Just a nice run to get the legs moving today....took some walking breaks, no real expectations or challenges today, just recovering from the race last night....Felt good, but SOOOO hot!! (yeah, I know, I'm a baby....can't help it, I'm used to cold AK weather!)

That's a pretty nice pace for a recovery run with walk breaks. I'm with you about the heat -- I can handle the cold much better. (Although I'm not sure how I'd fare in Alaska.) Great run!

Going from Alaska to warm weather will take some getting used to, but the body adapts over time. From your posted photos, NZ looks like such a beautiful place, I envy you!

Wonderful job getting in a nice easy run. Are you originally from Alaska? I hadn't realized that!

Actually I was born in NC, Linda. My husband is from Kansas. I have moved 27 times due to my dad and my husband both being military. When Travis got out of the army we moved to Alaska and we technically just consider Alaska our home. (Kansas would be our second home since that's where our family is.) Then, we emigrated to New Zealand in September...Yeah, we definitely get around - ha!

wow, that is amazing....27 times! Hopefully you have had some great times and memories with all those new sights and friends. I haven't moved nearly that much!!!! You must have some amazing stories.

Definitely seen some great places! (of those 27, I have moved multiple times throughout the state of NC and VA) My favorites were NY, MD and of course, South Korea! =) My husband and I love to travel, and our time in S. Korea was so incredibly memorable!!!
