  2. greatFaster and Fun 4.35 mi / 00:37 08:32 pace

Ran a great 3 miles with the final 1.35 miles variable. avg around 7.03 miles per hour. Not to shabby for being off a week and a few days for the snow.

BTW- anyone know if the video is fixed on #dailymile? itching for a video post!

  3. blahStale... 2.2 mi / 00:20 08:57 pace

Short run--felt really stiff the whole time. I think I am having some problems with shin splints; side of calf all the way up to the knee- kills on impact ( even walking).

Probably take Thursday off ( and then deal with the impending "snow" ... read more

SO the story: in around 3.1 miles or so, I am coming off a parking lot tarmac onto a sidewalk. It seems that the plastic on the top of my nike free snagged the curb and...Taylor goes down. Hard. Wamp Wamp....

Wear your battle scar with pride, sir. I've done this myself - it's not the injury that hurts, for me it was the people at the bus stop laughing at me.

  6. alrightBoo-Boo's on my Kneez 5.78 mi / 00:50 08:37 pace

It was nice out- and I shaved 2 minutes of my time from Saturday's run of the same distance. around 3 miles in though- BOOM! I fall down. With a bloody knee and burning palms I keep it going ( explanation and photo to follow soon).

Dude! You shaved off 2 minutes AND you were bleeding? That is hardcore. I say you play the rest of the week by ear. If you didn't twist anything and the only real causality is the skin on your knees and palms, then I say soldier on!

  7. goodHefty Saturday run 5.79 mi / 00:51 08:43 pace

YES- I ran on a Saturday morning and my runkeeper was in full force. I even accidentally closed it to check a text message, and opened the app back to find I could quickly resume my tracking. WOOT!

All in All, felt really good. I wasn't going for time... read more

A joyous fist pump_ for completing 5.79 miles on a Saturday of all days.

  9. No workout today- rain and bum foot and hip= discouraged. If the weather doesn't get better tomorrow, we will have to shoot for Saturday.

  10. goodCrazy Awesome Lunch Run 3.2 mi

Running during lunch hour= the most awesome-ess way to break up the day.

@Runkeeper failed on me though ( did not track first mile and half- and said I averaged 3.35 mph hour--- that is like slow walking?!?).

Cleaned up with shower and balanced lunch... read more

Couldn't agree more! I swam at lunch today. Running and swimming have certainly become the Zen part of my day. And putting a workout in at lunch makes work soooo much better.
