Well, that was fun! My first stride workout, and man do I need it! During the 5k last Saturday, I realized my little legs forgot what speed felt like. I did a 20 min warmup, then I managed 6 x 60sec @8:30 with 90 sec recoveries, and a 20 min cooldown. I actually really like these workouts because they break up the week's runs. I think I actually ran a little faster than 8:30 at times...I didn't have my watch set to see pace, so I just ran as fast as felt comfortable without killing myself.
