Took the opportunity to finish my miles for the day.I have such respect for trail running. This was a hard run because of the heat and I got lost.So I didn't have enough water with me.Trail running is about being prepared for anything. An important lesson was learned today. Today always prepares me for tomorrow.

That's scarey:) I bet you were relieved when you found familiar territory. Very nice miles today!

Good miles, Tammie! Where does one even find non-paved trails around here?

If you ever see a short guy out there with a red hat that has the name of a Pasadena running store on it looking lost, wave :)

I got lost on the trails on my last trip out near Liberty University. Thankfully I brought my phone in my running belt. It didn't show me what trail to take, but I could orientate the direction I needed to run to get to a road. Saved me a long trip on the mountain.

I've been there too! And it won't be the last time! I think it's 'good' because it a different type of work out! Finding how to get out! But just be safe!
