Remember last week when she asked if we wanted to go 2 hours? Why did we say yes? IDK, but we all were there @ 5 for a beatdown. Crazy leg stuff today with some upper body thrown in. Here's my attempt to recall it all:
Warm-up: dynamic kickboxing moves for about 5 minutes
First set:
Walking weighted lunges (40# on a bar) length of the gym floor
10 jump squats w/ the bar (straight feet)
Walking lunges back to the other side
10 jump squats w/ the bar (plie squat)
Repeat 3x
Second set:
20 reclining chest presses (wide grip) - same 40# bar
8 seated chest-shoulder presses - same 40# bar
10 seated lateral raises w/ 7# free weights
20 single leg chair dips
Repeat 2x (maybe 3 can't recall)
Third set:
frog leap into pushup position, pushup, back into frog leap across the gym
grab 40# weighted bar for overhand rows
jumping lunges back to start
Repeat 3x
Fourth set:
50 resistance band leg extensions
20 20# side lunge - each leg
10 jumping lunges - each leg
Repeat 2x?
Jog 1/4 mile to the hospital parking lot
3 sprint cycles in the lot
Hit the stairs!
deep lunge, 2 stairs @ a time to the top
@ the top: 20 jumping lunges
walk back down
20 "quick feet" on the bottom step
side lunges (same leg) up 2 stairs @ a time to the middle level
stop and do 50 side leg lifts on side lunged leg
reverse side lunges (other leg) up to the top
@ the top 50 side leg lifts (same leg)
walk back down
15 bunny hops
run up the stairs (don't stop until you reach the top)
20 reverse lunges @ the top
walk back down
20 mtn climbers (more like 40 b/c she counts 2 legs as 1)
Walk back to parking lot
3 sprints cycles in the lot
skip back to the gym
*collapse on floor* I mean, stretch and get out of there!
My word that was a workout. (I think I caught it all) We hung in there! I'm sure I will feel this tomorrow. Upperbody is already a little tender. And my poor shins. They aren't used to all this jumping I've been doing all week. Guess I'll be awkwardly rocking the compression socks again all day. One chick in accounting couldn't stop staring. Rude!


Holy crap... not sure beatdown is strong enough of a word to describe the pummeling. You're my hero! Rock those compression socks and freak that Actg. chick out!

Crazy is as crazy does. Group hypnosis. LOL. Did anyone decide to stay at the hospital when you ran there. "I'm good . . . I'll just hang around here in case I pass out!" LOL
