    Ran through middle of nowhere Kansas for 7 miles and even hit a 7 min. 40 sec. mile in the middle.

    Since mom didn't go to bleachers I just did 5 miles in this stupid heat. The first half was fine but then the sun came out and I swear that the temperature jumped to 100* F.
