Nice run! I applaud you for getting out there after a long day at work. I'm starting to see some people post, in a boastful way, that they completed a long run without hydration or nutrition, as if it's something that is good. I have tried to find out if that's the case with no luck. But if that's something that builds your endurance, then this was an even greater run for you. I'm doing Brooklyn half too....looking forward to it.

I have this watch. I always power it up where it can pick up the satellites. It it's always from the same location I think it locks on faster. Dd you try just setting it out on a table or whatnot for 5 min while you are getting ready? I really like mine, best garmin I've owned to date.

I had the 405...honestly upgrading to the 610 was the best decision I ever made. Hated that damn bezel with a passion. But yeah, it should just pick up the satellites

I have the 310. When I turn it on, I place it on the window sill to locate satellites while I get my huaraches (if I wear them) on, road ID, and the rest of myself ready.
