    ~ 31 degrees at the start.
    Did way better than I thought I would have based on recent training (past 2 months have sucked). Didn't enjoy the sand or cold wind but overall a good race.

    (Brian) Knees were a little stiff at the start but they got better. Reminder - next trail race, don't fall down. I'm too old to bounce back quickly.

      Great job on the trail race! Hope any scrapes and bruises heal up quickly. Was it pretty muddy? A friend & I were planning to go, but the overnight rain had us glad we didn't preregister.
