Riding for the love of riding. Take a friend fresh off a 1/2 Ironman that you don't see nearly often enough and match her up with your sad sack self who's been sick for the past couple of weeks and go out on a ride with gorgeous scenery and perfect weather just because. Susan L. and I did the the Lake to Lake Tri's bike route, sort of, we got off course a little bit but had a good time chatting and descending, while grumbling about the climbing at a blistering pace. Riding with an old friend in a new area what more can a girl ask for, other than perhaps a massage for my aching legs (wow I'm out of shape).

    Tsu - I think we should have turned where I got all excited about the Free Beer sign. Oops! Next time I want to ride more along side Horsetooth. And I want to figure out what this Carter Lake ride is that people are always talking about.
