    I really need new shoes! Race was fun and I was loving the fact that I was burning so many calories on Thanksgiving! An icy cold draft cider with friends at the end hit the spot too!

      Tracie, a lot of people have the same thing happen after a marathon. Look for a New Year's race 5k or 10k and start training for that. It won't be too stressful of a training program and it will get you back on track. And give yourself a break, you just ran a marathon.

    Weird run today. No aches or pains, legs felt fine...just couldn't find my mental mo-jo! Good news's done and now I can go and enjoy my son's swim meet this afternoon!

    First day of taper. Easy recovery run. No soreness or anything from Saturday's 20 miler. Not really even that tight. Maybe it's those "recovery" Oreos I ate! :-)

      Oh yes! I'm all about the orange filled Oreos! :) My race is actually on Halloween- so I will have to be sure to pack those for my trip! I mean...clearly they worked last time. Can't stop now! ;)
