Feeling good after running with the heavyhands. Wouldn’t recommend it for speed training but I was never that fast to begin with.

    It's all part of our high priced education. Santa Claus is bringing me a new heavy hands rack. Right now my heavy hands are bunched in spots around my gym. Decided the time has come to actually look like I belong to something. You're doing good, Bro. Keep up the great effort!

    Dr. Leonard Schultz came out with a book called, “Heavyhands: the ultimate exercise” in the 80’s. I incorporated them into walking and running with what I felt was great results. Here is a link to an article that is pretty honest.

    I just scanned his page. Looks good. I will be heading downstairs for my workout in a few minutes. Will get back to this later today. Today looks like our last day of fall, temp could hit 58 and it's December 4th. Week ahead looks like the freezer is coming. Gotta make hay while the sun shines.

    One more link for those interested in heavyhands while Running. The amount of weights you use depends on your goals. I have found one and two pound weights are great for goals to increase speed and heavier weights for overall fitness. In fact it may sound counter intuitive but my heart zones are easier to control when I run with weights than without.
