Going back full circle. When I started running back in the 80’s I did it from walking with Heavyhand weights. When I ran with weights I was never fast but I was never injured either. It was only when I got a competitive streak and dropped the hand weights that the injuries began. Now after studying Running form and techniques I see with clearer eyes why the injury rate was the way it was. For me anyway the hand weights forced me to run in better form. I was Chi Running by default. That story could go on & on so I will spare everyone the details and just say, today felt great.
