RUN
great Central Park and Summer Streets 12.2 mi 01:35 07:48 pace
Much faster than I originally intended but it felt great. Off-roading it in Central Park and running up and down on Park Ave for Summer Streets. Ran with a friend for 8 and it felt great.

RUN
great 9.1 mi 01:15 08:14 pace
First long training run. Hell, longest run since I ran the Brooklyn half, and I ran about the same pace :) The best part of the run was that once the light rain stopped (and the humidity broke a li... read more

RUN
good Prospect Park 4.6 mi 00:34 07:22 pace
Ran hard because it was pouring rain and dark out (started running at dusk like a smart fella would). I was soaked, my glasses were fogged up and for some reason I thought off-roading it in the dar... read more

RUN
good Prospect Park 4 mi 00:35 08:45 pace
First run after my doctor's visit the day before. I felt pretty severe pain in the side of my foot after my last hard run in June (which was my last post). I rested it for two weeks and ran a ... read more

great Upper West Side Central Park 5.52 mi
Fun Father's Day walk through the park with Penny. The hills of Central Park are tough with a stroller.

RUN
good 5 Mile Park Route 5.01 mi 00:38 07:34 pace
It felt really hot out there in the sun. That was my main motivation for running so fast.

RUN
great 3 Mile Park Route #1 3.06 mi 00:22 07:17 pace
The stride is coming back. Had a nice negative split even though I thought I was pulling back a bit on the reins. Have to be careful to not rush things, especially with the new footwear. But I push... read more

RUN
good 3.17 mi 00:26 08:09 pace
Good - finally got out of bed early and ran before work. Still slow on the times but the calves felt better today. I think I'm finally running properly in my five-fingered shoes.

I have much respect for this as I cannot get up early to run. Ever time I try, I feel like hell. Good job!

Thanks Ken - and sorry if I sounded like a dick, but the time wasn't the issue as much as my body just not having the juice it once had to good as smoothly as I'd like it to. It'll get there, but it'll take a good deal of time and hard work.
