alright Worse Than I Though 0.5 mi

Okay, so after following some of Russ B.'s links I decided to do some initial tests today instead of the work out I had planned.

So I did speed walking for a half mile and boy did my calves feel it!! So did my lungs thanks to the cold weather.

I did the initial test for the one hundred pushups challenge and am sad to report I only was able to do four. YIKES!

For the initial test for the two hundred sit-ups I managed twenty.

Squats were 25.

I'm sweaty, but I love that feeling after working out. What disappoints me is I used to be able to do at least twenty push ups in a set, at least fifty sit-ups, along with running, and other exercises. I used to take capoeira and I was a gym head. I didn't realize how far I had fallen. That makes me sad, but also tells me that I'm doing the right thing. The longer I wait the harder it's going to be to get back into shape.

So tomorrow I rest in the hot tub. Then Thursday, I follow the one hundred push ups and two hundred sit-ups regimen while working on my stamina with more speed walking. Since I was able to do twenty five squats today, I'll increase it to thirty.

I am definitely doing the right thing. As long as I can keep on, than I'll make it. No quitting.

P.S The Title is supposed to say "Worse Than I Thought" though I can't figure out how to edit it.
