    The air felt "thick", sort of foggy/misty and warm. Blech. Fun to run somewhere new, though, and I got to see a bit of WI Dells.

    One of those runs where I checked my watch every .1 miles to see if I was done yet. Too tired! But now I'm on vacation (except for one 7 miler this weekend), woo hoo!

    My goal is to run 3 mi in under 30 min while not stopping my watch at the stop lights. Managed to do it today! Mostly I ran intervals instead of a tempo.

    So. Much. Fun. Did 7 miles with the High Heels Running Group and the rest on my own. The trails are incredible at Cougar Mtn. Can't wait to come back! Made me so excited for the 30k!!!!!

    Wow. I don't know how I pulled this off, guessing it was because I ran with my speedier friend Ray! Fastest two laps I have ever done at Discovery Park, and this was my second workout today!

    So quiet at the pool this morning, I was the only one there for half my swim! Looking forward to a trail run tonight, too.

    Needed this run this morning. Now hopefully I am ready to approach the rest of the day with the same strength.

    Started feeling sluggish, ended feeling great. Had a wonderful run with Sally from Gasworks to the arboretum, up Madison then through Cap Hill and back to Gasworks. Such a fun route!

    First loop I was cruisin. Second loop I was walking a lot. Loved every second of this trail!

    Kept my pace in low 9's, which was a good challenge. It is still so hot out in the morning! Ugh.

    Such a fun run! My friend met me and we got in some speed and some monster hill climbs. Still deciding how much I love the new shoes, but they overall felt great tonight.
