  1. RUN
good St. Edwards State Park 4.2 mi 01:00 14:17 pace

So much fun to hit the trails!

  2. swim
    good at the pool 00:40

Nice to be back in the pool today, even if I was moving slow. Still can not get the hang of breathing on both sides while doing crawl stroke, it is so frustrating!

Have you tried standing in the shallow end bit with your top half in position and practicing? Might help just to get the movement memorization down.

Haven't been hurt, or tight, or anything other than mildly achy since Ragnar. Hoping this run shook everything out a little bit!

Decided better late than never to do some hill training for Ragnar, haha! I ran up and down Avalon hill at 6:30 am. It wasn't so bad, so despite not running on hills at all for the past severa... read more

  8. RUN

My last long Ragnat training run. It was a gorgeous morning for it! Started slow and finished with an 8:00 min mile!

A night run with 3 of my teammates. It was so much fun, and I was surprised that I wasn't super tired despite starting the run after my usual bedtime ;)

  11. swim
    at the pool 00:30

This was a crappy swim, it felt like nothing was easy or right. My swim cap bugged me, my goggles hurt my nose, I had no rhythm. Ugh.

  12. RUN
good in Grants Pass 6.3 mi

Gorgeous morning, though a bit warm for me. Longest run in a while, felt . . . . tired. Body Pump and cave exploration yesterday probably didn't help.

  13. RUN
good run and strength 2 mi

Wanted to fit in a quick run and strength workout before VACATION!!!!

  14. RUN
good at Lincoln Park 4 mi

Trying out my late afternoon run for Ragnar. I didn't die in the heat, so that's good!

Short morning run. Foot still feels good!

  18. swim
    good at the pool 00:40

Felt great doing an early morning swim workout. Hopefully I can fit these in once a week all summer long. One of these days I will count my laps to see how far I've gone.

  19. RUN
    good on Alki 5 mi

Go big or . . . stay safe and not be an idiot. Choosing to go big. I have 4 weeks until Ragnar and I am trying to be able to comfortably run 7 miles by then!

  20. RUN
good too hot 4.4 mi 00:41 09:19 pace

Proud of this run. It is very hot and I made good time even with walk breaks/stop lights. Decided to throw caution to the wind and push my distance a bit to see how the foot responds. We shall see!
