First, started out way too fast. Couldn't seem to run MY pace, with everyone around. PR'd my 5K and 10K times according to my Garmin. At the 5 mile mark I was at 1:03 and I knew I'd be paying for it later. LOL Hip started bugging me around mile 10 and despite walking a couple of the steeper uphills to save it, I didn't have much luck.Held sub 13:00 miles for 8 miles, was closer to my target pace for a couple miles, and the last two into downtown were horrible...I totally thought they were better than what they were...14+ I knew there was a headwind, but WTH? LOL . So this makes RunGirl my PR, but I'm happy with this race because 1) I totally stayed present and enjoyed it. yes! I enjoyed it. 2) I really stayed focused. Now for a rest and repair on the hip. Tri Season is starting!

congrats Donna!!!

Nice run Donna. Looking forward to seeing what you do for Tri training. I did my first last year and am so ready for the next. My hips hurt sometimes for a couple of days after a hard run. Way to stay focused.
