I am one tired girl... We'll see just how lucky the trails are at the Lucky Trails Marathon. Not racing... just taking it easy.

Today is a crazy "brick" day. 2 hour ride (1:30 at Half IM pace and :30 at Olympic pace). Is it bad to take vacation days for training?
-
I did it today too :) It just means we're hardcore.

I'd rather take vacation than crimp on family time. I took the day off to go to Rodeo, but will still get my swim in later. Good luck in training today.

OH! the other thing was kicking.. my first lap I was so bouyant that I really wasn't kicking much. I had to concentrate on that. By the last lap I found a patter of breathing/spotting that worked. I was super happy I finished. So did it get easier? I have to say yes. Each lap was faster than the previous. We could go and have a DM swim one day, if you all wanted!
