3hrs 42mins is a long time to be on a bike, but the miles had to be done, and done they were.

I'd decided earlier on in the day that a big session was on the cards so I ate accordingly and hit the bike with gusto as soon as I got in. All went well with the ride but just the physical time on the bike in one hit without taking any sort of break is a killer mentally.

Mental note to self; don't do it again, stupid boy!
