      Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the encouragement. Julia, the streak will end Sunday. My coach has a rest day on the schedule. I do have a tough progression run on Saturday, but I usually do better at those than tempo/cruise interval type stuff like today.

      Kris, yeah I guess that is what it would be called. This one is not banked and is wide enough for about 3 runners (I know this because 3 runners were running next to each other, and I had to alert them I was there when I wanted to pass). It's above the main gym with the basketball courts and stuff. Kind of weird, I hadn't run on this track in ~20 years, but once I got there it all came back to me.

      Oh dear. I feel your pain. Those hand injuries from falling are so difficult, especially since you need that limb to function daily. You are quite a trooper to get out there when it was difficult to start and then to renter the route after the fall. Take extra good care of yourself.
