great Trideltathon 8.88 mi 00:50 05:40 pace

I competed in my first Triathalon! (Sprint.) It was tough!
I forgot to turn on the Garmin after the swim due to T1 psychosis. I noticed it wasnt on somewhere on the bike portion.
I'm not sure of time, but will post later. My wife says 1hr 6mins something.
This was tougher than any race I've ever done. I'm zapped right now!!
Swim: Went well for me. Noone was in there correct swim time slot because there wasnt slots. (bad!) There was bottlenecks allover the pool.
T1: Horrible! Wet, out of breath, trying to put on socks, shoes, shirt, etc.. was tough. Gotta get better at this!! Have not purchased a Tri suit yet....
Bike: (2 laps). I couldn't clip my right foot in(20-30 secs!!! lost). Went well - gave all I had. By the 2nd lap I had it down and was able t0 pour it on. tough hill climb at the end of each lap(Went from 18th gear to 5th in seconds.)
T2: Smooth. Tired. Walked with bike, no runnning. Quads burnt up and had trouble moving. Can only improve a few seconds on this.
Run - slow start until legs loosened up. No 5K PR's here. Hilliest 5K course I've ever run by far!(It's UT campus, duh Dave)
T1 and the bike clip snafu cost 2 minutes. Other than that, I left it all out there.
I'm looking forward to see what the real numbers are.
