It hasn't been the easiest of weeks running wise, I can't believe how much fitness I've lost with just two weeks off with a head cold. This morning was a treat to remind me what the effort is all about, as trail and beach run from Craster on the coast of Northumberland (North East England) to Newton on the Sea.
It has to rank as one of the most beautiful routes I've run, and it was a glorious morning for it.
This wasn't about pace, but I am happy enough with that considering the route and terrain. Lets hope the coming week see's dramatic improvement, as I am now 49 days away from the half marathon I was planning to kick ass in.

the fitness will come back, and that's a nice run, Jim!
