kept a steady pace for this entire run for the first time ever, instead of increasing and decreasing speed without looking, like I usually do. Look where it got me, slowest pace ever. damn. However, this was a nice, easy run and I would have run much longer had a) my son not been literally tearing the living room apart and b) my knee not started to hurt about 5 min before I quit. I haven't had knee pain since before I started running bare, so I don't know what that was about. Maybe I landed funny one of those times I turned to yell at him for putting cars on the treadmill, or throwing legos across the room, or throwing toys down the stairs or at the flat screen TV. sigh. I look forward to getting up there someday alone with a movie so that I can just run, and see how far I can go with that easy pace. I'd like to experiment with the distance at an easy pace, and then a faster pace/distance/endurance. I just have no idea what my capacity is, since I never push myself.
